Karen, the owner, is a wonderful person and made what we felt was the best breakfast ever. She seemed incredibly generous, with a good heart, as we’d say in German. Bay Tree Guest House is in a very central spot, and we really enjoyed our long weekend there. Such a lovely guesthouse, I can only recommend it.

Our whole family appreciated how Geoff and Grace looked after us. They’re a lovely couple who couldn’t do enough for us, and made us feel very welcome. The place was spotless and breakfast was a ten out of ten. We were there for two nights while attending a wedding in Eastbourne, and it was a delight. Without a doubt, we’d stay again if we returned to Eastbourne and will keep recommending it. Keep up the good work.

I'm writing this over breakfast at Bay Tree Guesthouse after a night here as a surprise birthday present. The people and room are lovely, and the food is really good. The dog is adorable too. They’ve exceeded every expectation, and if I could stay here every time I visit Eastbourne, I would!

The room had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and Jeff made parking easy after helping us sort it out. The location is great. I’d strongly recommend staying here, and if we’re in the area again, this is an easy choice.

The room was tidy and very clean, and the owners were lovely and made us feel welcome. There’s a nice Spanish restaurant nearby called flamingo tapas. We’ll definitely come back.
