It’s a couple of blocks from the beach, in a quiet, very safe neighbourhood away from the main part of town. The hosts were incredibly friendly and gave us great tips for hiking the seven sisters. We slept comfortably, and breakfast was great.

Beachy Rise was just right for our one-night stop before starting the South Downs Way. Breakfast was amazing, nicely laid out with lots of choice, and gave us a good start for the walk. It’s a lovely big house run by lovely people. We had a warm, friendly welcome, and our room was spotless, with soft sheets, beautiful furniture and a nice shower. We enjoyed the stay very much, thank you!

We’d definitely stay again, it was extremely good value. The hostess was pleasant and took care of everything we needed, and she knew the area exceptionally well. Our rooms were a good size, clean and homely, and breakfast was great. A truly lovely B&B experience.

Coming home to England from Canada is rare for me, but this lovely place stays warm in my heart as an example of what’s good about England. The owners are kind and generous, and run things efficiently. The rooms are well kept and have the right amenities, so it feels like being at home when you’re away from home. Breakfast was piping hot, full English, with a good cuppa alongside. You won't go wrong.
