Wendy gave our group a really informative tour of the historic Gardens, which are impressive and thoughtfully laid out. There are beautiful old trees and shrubs, as well as the olde Post House. It was a special one-off group visit, and we weren't staying at the Manor. Walking around in the sunny heat made us thirsty, so a nice cuppa would have been great, though there's a nice pub at the end of the road. Recommended!

I came to Eastbourne with my Sister for a family reunion, and we stayed at Ocklynge Manor. Wendy and David were wonderful hosts. Our room was immaculate and had every amenity we could think of to make the stay comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and homemade, with choices for all tastes, a lovely start to each day. The personal touches and attention to detail gave the place a real home-from-home feeling. I loved it and hope to return. Highly recommend. Thank you, Wendy and David.

Homemade yoghurt, jams and bread made for an absolutely delicious, top-quality breakfast. Wendy and David are amazing hosts, and our room was perfect for a wonderful couple of days. Lovely place and lovely people. It deserves an award, and we'd happily recommend staying here. We'll definitely return.

The beautiful garden at this popular B&B was open to the public to raise money for Friends of Eastbourne District General Hospital. Information signs shared the Manor's interesting history, and it was a great chance to see a rare hidden gem.

I went to the Open Garden in support of Friends of Eastbourne Hospital. It was one of the nicest, most interesting and intimate gardens I've seen, with history all around.
