The apartment was spacious enough for our family of four, with a well-equipped kitchen and everything we needed for a short stay. We were in Eastbourne for the Bible on the Beach conference, and other people in our group had recommended Osborne Apart Hotel. I'd read some reviews and felt a bit worried, but the friendly reception staff were helpful with all our requests. We asked for a ground-floor room because we had a pram, and they arranged it without any trouble. That room didn't have a view. The location was excellent, in a quieter, nicer part of eastbourne, about five minutes' walk from the beach and conference venue. Cleanliness could be better, and the price felt a little high.

It's been over 28 days since I checked out, and I still haven't had my security deposit back. I left the place spotless. The deposit should cover damages, not serve as a free loan to the company. At first they gave vague excuses about finance processing it. Now they hang up when I call to ask where my money is, dodge my calls and cut me off. That's completely unprofessional, childish and unacceptable. Getting your own money back shouldn't mean a month of stress and endless chasing. Avoid Osborne Apartments at all costs, their customer service is a joke and their financial practices are incredibly sketchy. Book somewhere else. If this is how they treat paying guests, they don't deserve your business.
We had loads of room in our connecting apartment, with separate bedrooms joined internally, two bathrooms with marble tiles and two kitchens. We could have managed in the main room with a cot, which they provided too. My partner and I were visiting friends in Eastbourne with our toddler, and we were so glad we took a chance on this place. It's right next to the Towner, a five-minute walk from the beach and 10-15 minutes from the centre and shops. Dimple and her team were incredibly welcoming and lovely with our little girl. See you in the summer!
The staff were really friendly, and we had a very good stay in our renovated room, which even had air conditioning. I don't think every room is like that, though. The timing was less convenient: check-in was fixed at 3pm and check-out was very early. You pay for the day but only get to use the room for about two thirds of it.
Having a separate space for our toddler made the stay so relaxed. We could put her to bed and still enjoy the evening ourselves, which was a real treat. We liked it enough to add another night, and we'd happily come back. The aparthotel is modern, peaceful and spotless, with lovely bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. It came in handy for cooking or reheating our toddler's half-finished meals. Dimple and the rest of the team were lovely and always willing to answer questions. The location worked well for us: the stoney beach is under five minutes away, the town centre and station are about a 15-minute walk, and Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters are a short drive away. The Towner Art Gallery is a minute away for a rainy day, with good exhibitions and a free arts space for children. We had a great weekend here with our toddler and really recommend it for families.
