The room at The Halcyon is spacious, tidy, and very clean, with what looks like recent decorating. You can add continental breakfast day by day if you like. It's good value and has lots to choose from. All the staff we've met have been friendly and know the area well, offering helpful suggestions for first-time visitors like us. We're here for a last-minute New Year break in Eastbourne, and I wouldn't hesitate to return to Eastbourne or The Halcyon.

For our one-night stay I had a single room. It was small, but clean, comfortable, and perfectly adequate. The staff were nice and the location was great. This is a three-star hotel, not five-star, and it describes itself accurately. Couldn't ask for more 😊

I stayed here recently for my sister's memorial in Eastbourne. The hotel was first class throughout, and Kevin couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend.

The beach view from my room was wonderful. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. I also had a look at another, smaller room, which was still set up and decorated very nicely. Great value for money.

Right by the beach and close to all the town amenities, this is a cozy place with friendly service. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There's no lift, so bear that in mind if you're bringing heavy luggage.
