416 - Hart Street Apartment

With only three rooms, this small B&B felt especially welcoming. We enjoyed chatting with other travellers over a delicious breakfast, and appreciated the whiskey in our room in the evening. Angela was attentive, and the home's beautiful antique decor made it a lovely place to unwind after a busy day. 14 Hart St was a fantastic base for exploring Edinburgh. Highly recommend for a warm, comfortable and luxurious stay.

The location of 14 Hart Street was ideal. I walked everywhere, and there are some lovely spots close by: Broughton Bar for what may be the best espresso martini I've had, Pickles wine bar for a nice cheese plate for one, Broughton Market for gourmet groceries, Curiouser and Curiouser for gifts, and Nourish for healthy sandwiches, salads and good coffee. I was there for four nights earlier this month and couldn't have enjoyed it more. As a solo traveller, I liked chatting with Angela and meeting the other guests over delicious breakfasts. She's a warm, gracious host, and her Georgian home is beautifully arranged and comfortable throughout. My room was bright, cosy and spotless. I highly recommend this B&B gem and Angela.

We were about a 10-15 minute walk from Old Town and the sights we wanted to explore, yet the area was so quiet that we slept well. Angela welcomed us into her beautiful home for a weekend. The bedroom was spacious and very clean, with a lovely modern bathroom. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with a Scottish option and other tempting choices. The house feels cosy and is tastefully decorated, just right to come back to after a long day walking around Edinburgh. Angela was a wonderful host, and we highly recommend staying here.

It's a quiet neighborhood, and you can walk to almost everything from the B&B. Angela was welcoming and helpful, and made a wonderful fresh breakfast each morning to suit each guest's taste. I loved the exquisite furniture and style, and the rooms were spacious and cosy. The whiskey in the room was much appreciated too. I really loved staying at 14 Hart Street and can't wait to visit Edinburg again!
