Breakfast was a highlight every day. The staff gave us such personal service, even asking what we had planned and offering helpful tips. I usually just get a buffet, so this was a lovely change. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and we liked the bathroom too. An extra heater warmed things up quickly and made it comfortable. Buses were easy to reach and cheap, which worked well since we used them every day. We’re already looking forward to coming back in about a year and a half. The one snag was the WLAN, which kept disconnecting every half minute and was almost unusable. We were mostly out exploring anyway, so we managed. It was such a nice stay, one of the best hotels I’ve been to. The service was especially good. I’ve given other hotels five stars for service too, and now wish I hadn’t, since I can’t give Haven an extra star :D

It feels a bit like being at home away from home. The rooms are a little worn, but they’re clean. A Haven Town House is a bit away from the main tourist areas, so it’s quiet, and there are three bus lines nearby to get you where you need to go on time. David, the owner, and his crew always help make it a lovely stay. I’m always happy to come back.

There’s a car park of its own, and the breakfast was very good. The staff are super nice too. It feels more like a bed and breakfast, with a little extra privacy, and it’s a cozy place to stay. A bus station is very close and takes you into the heart of Edinburgh, while the place itself is quiet enough to get away from the bustle. Just be aware that it isn’t suited to anyone looking for modern amenities, and there’s no elevator, which could make it challenging for people with mobility issues.

The owners, David and his team, were so friendly, helpful, and kind. I had a great time there. It’s got that cozy Gilmore Girls or The Holiday sort of feel. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was really good, with a vegetarian option. It’s also easy to get to the city center by bus.

There are plenty of bus stops nearby, and the place is far enough from the busy, noisy city centre to feel peaceful. David was there to help us throughout our stay. The guest house has a lovely cozy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and a delicious Scottish breakfast. I’d recommend it.
