The hygiene was the worst part of our stay. We arrived in a rush for a wedding, and when we came back, there were clear signs that the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests or, even worse, that someone had used it while we were at the wedding. Photos attached. We reported it to staff, who threatened to contact the authorities because we complained 48 hours later, after we’d left and got off the plane. I feel completely scammed by this hotel. The room cost €450 a night, outrageous for what was on offer. The beds seemed from another century, and the sockets and light switches were oddly scattered around the room. The windows also felt unsafe and could easily be opened from outside.

The location was great, just a short drive from the city centre, and it felt like good value. We had a comfortable, pleasant stay. The room and bathroom were tidy and clean, and staff were friendly and helpful throughout.

The location was beautiful and the price was great for what you get. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Furnishings felt a bit old-fashioned, and there were no bedside lights, though the bathroom was modern.

The receptionist was really kind and helpful. We found the room and bathroom clean and cosy, and the furniture has a bit of retro charm even though it isn’t the newest. It was cheaper than most hostels, even for a private room for two. The location worked well too: a ten-minute walk through the park gets you to a tram for the city centre.

The only clean thing was the shower. The room smelled bad, there were stains on the walls, and the wall above the headboard had bogies all over the sleeping area. The bedding had holes, and the pillows need replacing, they felt like resting your head on a sheet. Not worth £15 a night. Disgraceful.
