Amazing apartments - Cables Wynd

David from Amazing Apartments was friendly and helpful. The apartment, "amazing apartments - Cables Wynd near The Shore", was cosy, clean, and well equipped. Both bedroom beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffee machine and capsules. Tesco and a bus and tram stop were nearby, and we mostly used the transport to get to the city centre. I can highly recommend it.

We'd definitely stay again with the family when visiting Edinburgh. The apartment was clean, the beds really comfortable, and the showers had strong pressure with a good range of temperatures. The host kept in touch well before and during our stay, including with directions for getting to and into the apartment. It's also a short walk to the Tram, which made it a great base for Edinburgh.

We had no working fridge for our entire stay, and the company left us to handle it ourselves. With two small children and medicine that needed refrigeration, we lost a lot of food and had significant extra costs from eating out and buying food each day. There was no offer of compensation, though they were happy to take our money. We reported the fridge and freezer problem when we arrived at the self-catering property in Aviemore on Saturday. An engineer didn't come until Wednesday and didn't fix it. We heard nothing about what was happening until our last holiday day, Friday. No support and no plan B.

Tesco is a two-minute walk away, and the city centre is about fifteen minutes from the flat. We spent seven nights here on a family trip and found the rooms spacious, the furnishings modern, and the paintings thoughtfully chosen. The kitchen supplies were well organised and high quality. We had everything we needed to feel at home, though a nonstick fry pan would be a useful addition. We thought the flat was amazing and would definitely stay again if we return to Edinburgh.
