Blossom Guest House

I walked to the Royal Mile and Princess St. most days. It was a pleasant 15-minute walk, and buses from about 100 metres away made getting around easy. Great location, lovely people and a really comfortable room. The host was gracious and lovely. The room and bathroom are very small, as the website makes clear, but for me as a solo traveller it was perfect: warm, cosy and quiet. The stairs could be an issue if you have lower body problems.

We spent three nights here. Our room on the first floor was large and very clean, while the bathroom was a little tight but worked fine for us. The host was pleasant and helpful, and breakfast had a nice range of cereal, fruit, yogurt, cheese and bread. Being right on a bus route made trips to the city centre easy. We'd stay at Blossom House again.

It was an easy enough walk downtown, and there were several bus choices close by. The hosts were very helpful, and I really enjoyed staying here.

The staff were lovely and helpful, and we enjoyed our visit so much that we're planning to book again. Our family room at Blossom Guesthouse was spacious, modern and very clean. It's only about a 20-minute walk from the city centre, and we'd definitely recommend it if you're visiting Edinburgh. Thank you, Christina (Sheffield).
