The room was roomy and clean enough that I could even practise a TikTok dance in it. We were by the street, but the view was nice to enjoy over tea or coffee, and towels were provided free. The bus stops for the airport and city are only a few minutes away. Adam was especially kind and helpful, answering all my questions before we arrived. We didn't try breakfast, so I can't comment on it. Thanks so much!

We'd happily recommend it for a single night. The staff were really helpful, and the rooms were huge and spotless, though they could do with an update. It's also a great spot if you're going to the zoo.

The staff were so friendly and made everything feel easy, nothing seemed like too much trouble. The hotel was clean and nicely laid out, and it made for a perfect weekend stay. We'd definitely come back.

The location worked well for us, with good public transport in both directions and a reasonable distance from the city centre and airport. The bed bugs were another matter. I got seven bites each night over our two-night stay, and after we reported it following night one, management spent about five minutes checking the beds. They apparently found nothing, and I was bitten again. At least the bugs were consistent. We had a very early flight, so there was nobody around in the morning to tell in person about the new bites on me and my mother. An email got the reply, “thanks for letting us know we will check for bugs again.” We had paid for three nights but left after two, which was probably for the best. I don't want more bites, and we'll need to be really careful with our luggage when we get home. Definitely not recommended.

The window in our room faced the laundry room, and the smells coming from there meant we couldn't get any fresh air. For the high-season price we paid, it wasn't worth it. This is a very old hotel on a busy road, fine for one night's sleep, but no more. Pay extra and stay in the city if you can. If you want an 1980s feel, you'd be right at home.
