Destiny Scotland - The Rutland Residence

This flat was nicely furnished, and the location couldn’t be better. It’s a hidden gem in a Georgian square, just yards from the west end of Prines Street. Two things kept it from being a five-star stay. First, the parking messages were confusing. One email said the car park was full, then another asked for my car details for the space I’d booked. I had booked a space, but somewhere else. Rutland Square parking at £15 a day is also pretty steep. The space I found, a five-minute walk away, cost less than half that. The other issue was a lack of attention to detail. The WC door handle fell off because a screw was missing, and the shower toiletries were hard to use: pressing the plunger released only a tiny amount. With a little more care around things like these, the Rutland flats would be perfect.

The location made it easy to get to all the amenities, and the apartments were lovely. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. I hope to stay here again.
