The main bedroom bed needs replacing. It was tiny and sagged in the middle, and we both came away with sore backs. For what we paid per night, and as regular travelers, we expected a better mattress. Aside from that, we loved our time in Edinburgh. The large apartment at Edinburgh Pearl Apartments (Dalry Gait) fit our family of six perfectly, was well appointed, and had thoughtful touches that made it feel homely, plus cleaning supplies. It's within walking distance of almost everything in town. We had trouble getting hot water at first, but staff fixed it right away after we spoke to them. They were great to deal with and very accommodating.

We had a very pleasant stay. The apartment was neat and clean, especially the bathrooms. There was hot water all the time, and the towels were clean and white. The location is very decent, five minutes on foot from Haymarket train / tram station and within walking distance of princess street.

We walked into the city center easily every day, and would absolutely stay here again. The two-bedroom apartment was clean, spacious and nicely furnished, and the epl staff were friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The WiFi was very slow, and there wasn't a pan for baking something in the oven. Apart from those two things, it was perfect. Edinburgh is beautiful, and we hope to return.

With five children, including a baby, the three-bedroom apartment felt like a real home from home: clean, spacious, modern and easy to settle into. It was just a few minutes around the corner from haymarket station, which worked well since we came by train. A supermarket was a minute up the street for our food shopping, and there were plenty of places to eat right on the doorstep. We walked to Prince street and the Old town/castle each day, about ten minutes, with buses and tram stops nearby too. Superb location. We'll stay again next time we're in Edinburgh, and definitely recommend it.
