The couple who welcomed us were so warm, and our room was both clean and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. We had a great stay, so if you find an available room, book it!

The best part was the lovely couple who run Galdstone, they were so friendly and welcoming. Gladstone house is in a fantastic spot for getting into the city, and both the accommodation and breakfast were exceptional. Thanks for making our stay so good. We'll definitely book again.

Ivy & Xia were so sweet and accommodating, and really helpful whenever we needed anything. My partner and I stayed for two nights last weekend. The room was clean and had a lovely view, and the location made for an easy stroll into the main town. We'd happily stay again.

The hosts were such a lovely, helpful family, and the service was perfect. We ate a couple of things from the menu and everything was delicious. There were plenty of extras too, including pastries and cereal. Our room was gorgeous and spacious, with free Wi-Fi, a TV and an en-suite bathroom with everything we needed. The little touches made us feel welcome. The house itself is beautiful, with stunning decor and lots of original features. It's about a half-hour walk to the centre of Edinburgh, and the number 33 bus stop is right outside and goes into the town centre. We had a wonderful weekend at Gladstone House. It felt warm and welcoming, like a little sanctuary in a busy town. We'll definitely be back. Norman and Ashley Murray

Xia was so polite and helpful, and Ivy is a brilliant cook. Breakfast had several choices and was always delicious. The lovely couple made us feel at home, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. My husband and I spent five nights at Gladstone House. It's a beautiful place with lots of character, and it was very clean. We were extremely pleased with our stay, would recommend it to friends and family, and would definitely come back.
