We had a pleasant stay, and Ms. Birsen was especially kind and helpful. The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly, and the location is excellent, just a five- to six-minute walk from the train station. The rooms are a little small, and breakfast wasn't very good. A few small changes could improve it.

The staff were excellent and very cooperative, but the hotel's service needs improvement. Only basic amenities were provided. There was no phone for contacting anyone, no basic toiletries, and no proper place to sit in the room. You'll need to bring your own shaving kit, toothbrush, and similar items.

We slept really well after all the walking. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet. Breakfast had a good range of choices to start the day, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The location is excellent, a short walk or taxi ride from the train station and up to the Royal Mile. I'd definitely stay again.

We visited in the first week of December and the Holiday Inn Royal Mile exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet had lots of choice, and the coffee machine made both espresso and latte. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. Having a grocery store right across the way was convenient. Cowgate Coffee was also a lovely stop for tasty coffee and baked goods when we were heading out or coming back. Thank you for making our trip to your beautiful city so enjoyable.

We were very happy with our two-night stay as a couple. The room was spacious, well equipped, and had a lovely view of the hills. The all-you-can-eat breakfast was excellent, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. The hotel is good value and just a few minutes from the old town's centre, with the castle around 15 minutes away. We highly recommend it for its impeccable customer service.
