JOIVY Luxury George Street Apartments: Castle Suite

We’d been thinking of booking a hotel for our Edinburgh vacation, then came across Apple Apartment. We were happier with it than we’d been with any hotel. It costs less, but you get a lot for the price. The rooms are genuinely clean and spacious, and the photos are accurate. They have the basics, including towels, soaps and shampoos from BVLGARI, tea and coffee. Each room has a TV, the bathrooms are clean, and there’s Wi-Fi. The apartment is very central, just a few minutes’ walk from shopping centres and sightseeing spots, and they clean the rooms every day. A few things could be better. Some rooms don’t have air conditioning and get too warm and uncomfortable for sleeping. There’s some outside noise, and the Wi-Fi is neither especially slow nor especially fast. There’s no lift, only stairs, which can be difficult with large, heavy bags.
