I didn’t mind having no window since I was only sleeping in the room. For a longer stay, I’m not sure I’d feel the same. Great accommodation.

The rooms feel worn, and the shower door wouldn’t shut, so the bathroom floor stayed wet. There’s room to hang only a couple of shirts.

The castle and Golden Mile were highlights, but Edinburgh won me over with its grand architecture and the lovely people. I love this city.
