The key system made the place feel private and secure, with one key for the main entrance and another for our room. It was also in a quieter spot than the city centre, and there’s a bus stop right outside, which made getting around straightforward. On the ride back, the bus left us only a couple of minutes from Mayfield Suites. We spent six nights there. Staff welcomed us and even took our bags upstairs, and the room was roomy and very clean. The ensuite was spotless, with dependable hot water. We could request daily housekeeping with the door sign; they brought clean towels, vacuumed, and topped up the tea and coffee whenever we asked. I’d gladly stay at Mayfield Suites again when visiting Edinburgh.

I ended up needing somewhere to stay for a month after unexpected trouble with my flat rental, and Mayfield Suites worked out so well that I never thought about moving. Moe greeted me warmly and was friendly and helpful the whole time. The room stayed spotless and well looked after, so it felt comfortable and homely even over a long stay. Having a fridge and microwave in the room was especially handy. I like walking, and the city centre took me about 15-20 minutes to reach. There are buses nearby, Tesco is a 10-minute walk away, and parking is available right in front of the hotel. I was very happy with my stay and would recommend Mayfield Suites.

Tina Coming back to a cozy, spotless room after exploring Edinburgh was lovely. The staff were warm from the minute I arrived and really helpful, so I felt at home. Mayfield Suites made for a comfortable, charming stay, and I’d happily recommend it.

We were in Edinburgh to visit our daughter, and Mayfield Suites suited us perfectly. The room was bright and clean, with a small kitchenette, and it’s right on the bus route to the Royal Mile. Staff were easy to contact and quick to respond whenever we had a question. We’d stay again if we’re back in the area.

Stayed for seven nights and had a good time. The place was quiet and clean, the staff were friendly, and the location worked well. All the important places are within a 10-15 minute walk.
