McDonald Road Student Accommodation

The people here made the biggest impression on me. The staff were kind, easy to approach and helpful, and I felt safe and at ease throughout my stay. The apartment had a welcoming feel, with a comfortable, well-kept room and a very convenient location. It was an ideal place to live, and I hope I can return soon.

I love how often they put on events and offer perks. My room is spacious, with a lovely layout, and feels so comfortable, almost like home. Whenever something comes up, reception sorts it out quickly.

As a student, I wanted good facilities, comfortable rooms and easy access to other places, and this accommodation ticks all those boxes. The rooms and kitchens are spacious and modern, and there's a free gym, cinema room, pool, darts and laundry room. Tesco, Sainsbury's and Co-op are among the grocery shops nearby, along with cute pubs and caffee's. It's an eight-minute walk to st James quarter and an easy walk to the city centre and Calton hill. The main campus is about 20 minutes away on foot, and the nearby bus stop and tram have great city links. As a woman, I felt safe in this area and had no trouble walking alone at night. The staff are delightful and willing to help with anything. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The shared spaces are good for getting some studying done or socialising with other students. I've had a really positive stay here. It's easy to get to both campus and the city centre, and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The building feels secure, and whenever there's a problem the friendly staff respond quickly. The maintenance team are responsive too.
