The apartment was fairly spacious, clean overall and had a well-equipped kitchen. The building seemed relatively new, with decent parking and grounds, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The main downside was the bathroom floor, which had water damage and felt spongy in places. The neighbourhood looked a bit worn, though I wouldn't call it dangerous.

My husband, our three children and I stayed here for nearly two months while moving to Edinburgh and waiting for our belongings. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, and the staff were amazing, especially Fiona. They went beyond what we expected at every turn. I'd HIGHLY recommend this place for any travel or living needs!

The bedroom window had a pretty view of distant mountains, and parking was available. A Tesco supermarket nearby had everything we needed, and the kitchen was set up so well that my family and I made French fries, pizza and noodles. The apartment was beautifully furnished and had all kinds of cooking appliances, plus an iron, mop, brush and washing liquid. Staff were rarely around, which meant no disturbance and plenty of privacy. I'd definitely recommend it.

Customer service has been great every time, and they suggested places to see and provided extra things I needed. We've stayed here several times and will definitely return. My husband works in Edinburgh now and then, and we usually add a holiday afterwards. The apartments are very spacious, with luxury furnishings that remind me of Malmaison. It's within walking distance of the city centre, with a big supermarket close by. Thanks, Oakhill, hopefully we'll be back soon!

The lift needs attention. It jolted roughly as it reached each floor, and I didn't feel confident using it. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and finished to a high standard, with a balcony, secure intercom and free Wi-Fi. We looked out onto a nearby industrial estate, so next time we might ask for a few floors higher. There's a massive Tesco nearby, and one bus can get you to the city centre in about 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
