Ocean Mist Leith

The stay at Ocean Mist Leith felt luxurious and unique, and we'd come back. The continental breakfast was great, much better than what you'd expect at a US hotel, and you get to eat on the bow of a boat. It was an easy tram ride from the airport. The staff were very friendly, checked our bags and brought them up to the room once it was ready. 10/10.

The breakfast up on the bar deck was a lovely start to the day, especially with the captain dancing around. We were there for our anniversary, and the team made a real effort to make us feel special. Even the housekeepers had arranged the towels into a heart with swans. The Ocean Mist has a luxurious art deco feel, and we had a great stay. We'd happily come back and recommend it to friends.

We had a brilliant time, and the drinks and service were great. Ethan, Will and Adam were patient and friendly with our whole group, so thanks to them. The two decks worked really well, with the seating and bar split between them. We came for a colleague's leaving do and had a good turnout. The location and view were gorgeous, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Thanks Michael

The bedding was a real highlight, so luxurious, and the shower was wonderful. The room was very clean, and whenever we asked, people cheerfully brought face cloths and ice. But there wasn't much room for our things, some drawers or extra surface space would help. We spent a week there and really missed having a TV. Staff said concerns about volume were why there wasn't one, which I found a bit odd. The walls are thin, and you can hear people in the halls at all hours. Leith is great, but the boat isn't near the tram, so you have to walk, take a taxi or use the bus. There's a simple cold breakfast included, and they'll carry something up the three flights of stairs if mobility is an issue.
