The hotel is right in the heart of the city, close to the attractions and restaurants, and the location can't be beaten. Our 2 bedroom suite worked perfectly for five people, with two large rooms, two baths and a well equipped kitchen with a washer/dryer. The balcony views were the best in the city. Breakfast at the restaurant was great, with plenty of options and good coffee. The only uncomfortable part was having to walk up the stairs from the room door each time.

We spent four nights here, using two different rooms because we toured the Highlands, and both were just right and met our expectations. The rooms were spacious and gave us a comfortable place to rest after long days out. The hotel is right in the middle of Edinburgh, within easy walking distance of the castle, the palace, the pantheon and other major sights. The airport bus drops you very close by, so there was no need for extra transport. Do plan your route, though, as the steep streets and endless stairs can be demanding. For me, where you stay matters as much as the food when travelling. A good choice lifts the whole trip, while a poor one can affect your energy, time and mood. If you want to treat yourself to a place that adds something special to your visit, this is a great option. The service and quality exceeded our expectations, and we left completely satisfied. We celebrated my partner's birthday here, and the welcome amenities made it feel personal from the start. Check-in was smooth, and the reception team were warm throughout our visit. We also ate at Luckenbooths on the ground floor, where the friendly, attentive staff made dinner a great experience for our group. The luxury suite was spotless, spacious and open plan, with high-end furnishings and premium amenities. It was lovely for four adults, and the city skyline from the windows made the stay feel extra special. The location is unbeatable, just off the historic Royal Mile in the heart of the Old Town, surrounded by beautiful architecture and close to the attractions. We loved having a large balcony overlooking East Princes Street Gardens and the Scott Monument. After a long day exploring, it was great to come back to a place that felt more like a private home than a hotel, and the kids loved it too. Old Town Chambers made our Edinburgh visit unforgettable.
