Point A Hotel Edinburgh, St Andrew Square

The staff were the real highlight for me: warm, welcoming, and full of useful local tips. When I asked about Marmite, they actually went out and bought some for the next morning's breakfast. Now that's service! We slept really well during our lovely two-night stay at this cute hotel. It's in a fantastic spot, with original, welcoming decor and rooms thoughtfully arranged to make the most of the space. And the breakfast spread was great.

Everyone working there was genuinely kind and happy to chat or lend a hand. The location made it easy to reach the tram and walk to other attractions. Our room was small, but gave us enough room to unpack and stash the goodies we were taking home, and it looked out over the square. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. I'd book again and recommend it to friends and family.

This was our third stay, and it's been a pleasure every time. The hotel is impeccably kept, and the rooms are immaculate, though a little small. Customer service really stands out. Everyone works hard to make you feel welcome and comfortable. A big high five to Tatiana, she's a real plus to this Ibis. Thanks to all the staff. We enjoyed the upgrade and the surprises.

After twelve hours of travel, we were hungry and had no time to find food before our walking tour. We arrived in the morning and had just half an hour to drop our bags and head out. The desk clerk gave us pastries, which got us through the two-hour tour. That hospitality stuck with us. The room was clean and organized, though the shower controls took some figuring out, and the view from the window was a surprise.
