The apartment was spotless, and I checked all the places most people probably wouldn't, as I'm a cleaner. I was really impressed. Our family had a two bedroom place with everything we needed, including a washing machine and airer, handy for a longer stay. The beds were very comfortable too. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the location makes it easy to walk to everything. I'd definitely come back to this place when I'm in Edinburgh again.

We were five in a three bedroom apartment, and it worked well for the family. It was a bit pricey, though. The location was good, the heating and everything else worked as expected, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Being able to leave our bags in the luggage room on the last day was very useful.

The apartment was reasonably equipped, though it felt a little tired. Getting there wasn't pleasant: the shared areas seemed badly maintained, and a few times we got held up because housekeeping staff were taking up the lifts. It felt like we'd been put in a dungeon. At check-in, reception couldn't see the 80% deposit that their email confirmation said we'd paid, but the man there insisted we pay without explaining the mismatch. I was here for business last week. The stay was fine, but I wouldn't return, with so many nicer places in Edinburgh.

The view over the cemetery was pretty cool, and the service and housekeeping were amazing. We had a huge apartment with two bedrooms, a sitting and dining area, and a kitchen with everything you could want. The elevator definitely has a personality. Step outside the hotel and you're right in the middle of everything.
