It felt homely, and the hostess was sweet and welcoming. The place is on a quiet street, with a fairly big room and a bathroom with a shower. The garden is impressive, with olive trees where you can sit and unwind after a day exploring the city. Breakfast is brought to your room, with whatever you prefer and whenever you want it in the morning. Wifi coverage was a bit weak and the TV quite small, but neither was enough to take off a star.

Fergus and Katrina are so kind. We had a quiet, clean double room with plenty of privacy, and the patio is stunning. Breakfast was delicious and brought to the room. All the main sights are an easy walk away.

I had an amazing birthday weekend here. Katrina and Fergus welcomed us into their beautiful home, and the room made me feel so special because it was a surprise. Breakfast was outstanding, and they were fantastic hosts who made us feel very welcome. I'd highly recommend staying here, and I'd definitely come back to Edinburgh and stay again. ❤
