The Resident Edinburgh

The staff were so helpful, and the hotel was clean and modern. We absolutely loved it. It’s close enough to walk to The Royal Mile and Edinburgh castle, but far enough from the busy city noise. The rooms are great, with a good-sized TV if you want something on while falling asleep. There’s no parking on site, but they offer a discount at a car park about a five-minute walk away, in front of the castle. One of the best hotels in Edinburgh.

We’ll definitely come back. The room was spotless, with excellent amenities and a comfortable bed, and I slept really well. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and lovely to chat with, and the service was faultless. A special thanks to the reception team for arranging postage of my partner’s keys, which we’d left behind in the room. You guys are the best 🙌🏻. The hotel’s in a perfect spot too.

What made our stay stand out was how friendly and helpful everyone was. The service was great throughout, and we’d happily come back. The rooms were thoughtfully designed and had what we needed to relax. The hotel was spotless and comfortable, with a fantastic location that made getting to city attractions easy. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it.

The free drink at 5pm was a nice touch, and the room was clean with a very comfortable bed. We stayed three nights, and it wasn’t cleaned during that time. That didn’t really bother me, though it might matter to other people. Someone checked in on the second day, around 3pm, to ask if I wanted a clean, but I’d just come back and wanted to relax, so I said no. I’ve just checked out, and overall it was a great hotel, about a five-minute walk from Princes street.
