Over nearly two years at Arran House, I've had a very positive experience and would recommend it. The communal kitchen and dining area are great, and I've never had a functional problem with the facilities or appliances. The shower is straightforward to use and reliably warm. My private room was spacious, with modern decor, and the thick walls kept noise from being an issue. It was warm in winter too. The staff are friendly, around and ready to help with questions, requests, or problems.

I really appreciate that the kitchen is separate from the bed area, so cooking smells don't reach where I sleep. My studio is also very quiet and comfortable thanks to its excellent sound insulation. I'm quite satisfied with this student accommodation. Maintenance is efficient and problems get sorted quickly. The location is convenient too, with plenty of supermarkets and everyday amenities nearby.

As a student at Kaplan, I like that many of the other residents are Kaplan students too. It gives the place a nice social atmosphere. The rules are clear, which helps people from different backgrounds share the space, and management is attentive and helpful. I feel safe and secure living here.

It's a decent place at a decent price, not too far from the city :) But the big cobwebs on the ceiling, the lack of a mattress topper, and how much noise comes through from the hallway all brought down the stay.
