Travelodge Epsom Central

Mimi gave great service, was very welcoming 😊, and the room was kept very clean. The amenities were disappointing: we were advised to drink from the bathroom tap, which we weren't comfortable doing, and the kettle smelled bad whenever we used it. We ended up buying our own bottled water. 😒

The room was spotless, the shower hot and powerful, and the windows kept out the road and nearby train noise completely. The bed was huge with a lovely mattress, though it creaked a lot. Staff were very nice, especially a lovely young lady on Friday evening and Stebin, who were both attentive. They also gave me an iron and ironing board for free, no problem. A great stay, I'm very happy with it.

The room was great and the walk-in shower was too, though the space between the toilet and sink was a tight squeeze. We parked in the NCP car park. There’s room outside to drop off luggage as long as lorries aren't loading or unloading there.

The Travelodge is virtually next to the train station, with supermarkets, bars, and restaurants close by. We stayed over Christmas, and the room was clean and well decorated, just as expected. Housekeeping usually left us only one towel, even though I had booked a double room for two. Stebin, the downstairs supervisor, sorted that out and also linked the extra night I booked online to our original booking, so we didn't need to change rooms. He was always smiling and ready to help, a real credit to the company and a breath of fresh air. We'll definitely return.
