The town centre is really close, and the place was spot on for what we needed while visiting our son at university. It was nice to support a local business. Emily gave us a warm welcome, and we had useful contact before arriving. The room was compact but clean, freshly decorated and had all the essentials. Our dog could stay too, and got a warm welcome as well.

The staff were friendly, attentive and knew their stuff. Everyone I met was happy to help, and the room was clean, warm and fairly priced for my work trip. From the hotel I could walk to the town centre in about 10 minutes, and there's a Co-op right on the corner for anything quick. Lovely hotel in a lovely area.

Being able to leave my luggage there after checking out was handy, as I was spending the day in Exeter. The place is an easy walk from the town centre, the cathedral and other attractions, and I'd definitely stay again. My room was bright, spotless and quiet overnight, with a very comfortable bed. Everyone made me feel welcome. Breakfast had a good choice and was freshly cooked. I had a delicious, very large omelette.

The tasty breakfast came in a good-sized portion, and the staff were very welcoming. We booked at the last minute for one night, and for the price and purpose it was perfectly fine. The room looked nice and the stay was pleasant, but sound travelled everywhere: we could hear the neighbour sneeze and their alarm, movements from all directions, and conversations outside through the windows until late. I wouldn't necessarily come back.

The shower had the best water pressure I've had in a hotel so far, and the beds were comfortable. Everything was really warm and clean, and the owner and staff were amazing. It's right in Exeter Central, but just far enough from the city noise. Lou and I will stay here whenever we come up to Exeter.
