Cedar Lodge Hotel

The staff were really friendly, the food was delicious and the pricing was very good. The room was a little small, but I was satisfied with it and didn't feel uncomfortable. It's a fair distance from the city centre, though the location was great for my needs. I'd definitely book again, 9/10. I also thought the wardrobe in my room was a bit odd, but it was funny to see and brightened up my stay xD.

The staff were so helpful and welcoming. I stayed two nights in a twin room, with lovely clean, comfortable beds and a good-sized ensuite that had a bath as well as a shower. For the price and such a central position, I don't think I could fault the hotel. I'll definitely be back. Thanks for our stay.

Town was about a 15-minute walk away, which worked really well. The room was clean, comfortable and a decent size, though the decor felt dated. Breakfast was simple, with cereal and a full English cooked to order. A cheap place to stay if you’re not looking for luxury.

For £55+ per person, I’d spend a little more, or even the same, and stay elsewhere. It felt like stepping back into the 80s, and not in a good way. The staff were especially helpful and courteous, and breakfast was good, so I can’t fault either of those.
