It's a neolithic chamber tomb, and there's so much to wonder about. The earthen mound that once covered it has disappeared over time. It collapsed in 1862 and was put back up the same year. Wonderful inspiration. It's very kind of the farmer to make access so easy.
The farmer has made it easy to get into the field. There are four large stones here, with a pretty amazing history. A really curious find!
There's easy parking in the laybys beside the gate.
Easy to get to, and an interesting site. It would be nice to have some information about the structure.
Interesting place, though a bit hard to find. I was able to park on the road.
