Breakfast was an extra, and while it wasn’t anything special, it hit the spot. You could choose cooked or continental, with unlimited tea, coffee and juice, and the hosts were around to help and top things up. Rooms were average-sized for a guesthouse, comfortable and kept very clean, including the bathrooms. The host was welcoming and accommodating from the start, showed us to our rooms and checked we were okay. The location is hard to fault, about a two minute walk down to one of Falmouth's famous beach and a ten to fifteen minute walk to the main high street. Parking on site is limited, though the hosts do their best to help with it. A pleasant stay with friendly hosts and a brilliant location.

The guesthouse is very well run, and I had a great eight-day stay in July. Room service was first class, professional, discreet and efficient. Breakfast was excellent and served between 0815 and 0900. It’s about 200 yards down the road to a beach, and you can see the sea in the photo of the outside. The house seems to have been built around 1905 in a Swiss chalet style, which is easy to see. It later became apartments before being turned into a guesthouse. I think there are eight rooms altogether, including a rear annex. I had a small single room, but it was adequate. It had a chest of drawers, a chair, a bedside cabinet, an ensuite toilet and shower, and a closet wardrobe. I would have liked a desk, but you can’t have everything in a small room. I’m not sure how big the double rooms are. There was a balcony at the front, and I guess that would have been the best room in the house.

The beds were super comfy, and it’s really close to Gylly beach with only a short walk to the town centre. Parking can seem a little daunting at first, as you’re triple parking, but the proprietors manage it well. Great location and breakfast.

All the staff were friendly and really helpful. Breakfast was easy to order, and the buffet was fantastic. It’s a great little place to stay, close to town and near a nice sandy beach.

The beach view from the balcony was lovely. It’s a good place to stay, though the room felt a bit small. The owner was friendly, and breakfast was really delicious.
