The host was friendly and helpful, and breakfast had a good range of choices. It’s a traditional B&B with a bar if you feel like staying in, while the town centre, with plenty of pubs and cafes, is about a five minute walk away. I’d recommend it. I believe they close over the winter.

Room 1 looked out over the sea, and the car park was spacious. The welcome from the lovely lady was warm, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great and could be ordered the night before. Good value for money, and I’ll definitely come back.

The freshly made breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and really helpful. We had a comfortable, spacious, very clean room with a nice bathroom and a stunning view from the bed. There’s a pleasant lounge and sunny patio too. It’s around five minutes on foot from the train station and ten minutes from the waterfront and high street. A real gem, I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

I’m 71 and didn’t have my own transport, so getting there was my only difficulty. The bus stop is a 10 minute walk, and I mostly took taxis from the town centre for £6.00 each way. If I were younger and fitter, I’d stay there all the time. It’s a lovely place to relax, with beautiful, brilliant hosts. The rooms and service were amazing, and everything was spotless. The comfortable bed had bouncy springs, pure white linen, and great pillows. There was a decent sized TV, clean carpet, matching furniture, and lots of drawer space. I also appreciated having the toilet separate from the excellent shower room. Tea, coffee, and nice sweet biscuits were provided. Breakfast was tasty and freshly made, with extra available if needed. The owners are ex-Army veterans with about 24 years of service, and they offer an honest product.
