The owner was very helpful, and the room was perfectly fine for a base, especially with Falmouth Train station so close. I was worried after reading earlier reviews on the way down, but was pleased with my stay. Room R2 could use a little attention to the walls and windows, but it was clean and comfortable, with fresh-smelling white linen and towels, a modern bathroom, and a comfy bed and pillows. I even enjoyed a few baths.

The host was friendly and the bathroom was beautiful, so thank you for that. The couch had crumbs, though, and the carpet needed vacuuming. I couldn't close the window all the way, which made it cold in early autumn, and the old blinds need replacing and weren't very clean. I'd have preferred clean-smelling, firm, starchy sheets, but last night's were the opposite.

The host was really lovely, and the bathroom and harbour-view location were good. That was where the positives ended. The room was grubby and tatty, and needs paint, new furniture and a new carpet. Visitors in the neighbouring B&B garden were noisy until the early hours. Breakfast wasn't included in the price, and I won't be back.

The docks, beach and town are all right nearby, and our room was lovely, with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom stocked with everything we needed. We stayed three nights and the staff were absolutely lovely. Breakfast was amazing too. I'd recommend it and would definitely come back.

The rooms are nicely furnished, making them a comfortable place to spend the evening. The lighting is on the dim side, and there's a good choice of drinks. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome, and the place is quiet.
