We came away feeling properly rested. Gowanlea was comfortable and spotless, and the views and walks start right at the doorstep. It makes a lovely base for exploring keilder forest and the surrounding area. Once the fire was going, the place felt especially cosy. Just what we needed for a quiet break, and we'd happily return and recommend it to anyone wanting to switch off.
