My little dog Lenny was made very welcome. Everyone was happy to fuss over him, and they kindly brought fresh water and biscuits for him. Our room was lovely and warm, with everything we needed: a kettle, tea, coffee, milk, good quality biscuits, complimentary shampoo and shower gel, and more. The Sunday carvery was delicious, with a good dessert selection. Breakfast was top notch with plenty of choice, and we tried the evening meals too. They were just as delicious, cooked from scratch. The pub had a great atmosphere, a good selection of real ales, and the staff were helpful and friendly throughout. The service was fantastic from beginning to end. We’d definitely recommend The Bull in Horncastle and would love to return. A big, warm thank you to all the Staff xx

The bar felt warm and lively, with a nice mix of locals and visitors that gave it a properly traditional atmosphere. The food was hearty, full of flavour and well cooked, with generous portions. Our room was clean and comfortable, and had the character you’d hope for in a historic country hotel. The staff were welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help. You can see how much pride the team take in their work. The Bull Hotel in Horncastle was spot on from start to finish, a real gem in the heart of town. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back!

We stayed in room 2 on a Friday, when the pub was buzzing. After a long drive, we had some lovely tapas and turned in early. I actually liked the pub noise, just people chatting, no music. It was like white noise and didn’t stop me sleeping. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the place is very dog friendly, which is always a bonus. The pub was built in the 1500’s and has plenty of charm and character. Breakfast and coffee were delicious, and for the price you really can’t complain. All the staff were friendly and chatty. Thanks to everyone at The Bull for a lovely stay. We’ll happily stay again ❤️❤️

I stopped by the bull for steak and a pint. The blonde server was polite and brought everything with a smile. The brunette waitress who was off duty and sitting at the bar was very informative. I’d visit again.

A friendly pub with fabulous food, great staff and a really chilled feel. Sit by the window and watch the world go past, or have a chat with the locals. Just keep an eye on Beth 😆😆
