We had a fantastic afternoon in Faversham, and I'd absolutely recommend The Sun. The Spoons was full, which led us to discover it. The decor is beautiful, and the staff were friendly, approachable, humorous and charming. Everyone in our group of five, all very different people, loved the whole experience. Lunch was a 10 out of 10. The fish finger sandwiches with chips were actually big chunks of fresh fish. The sausage sandwich would impress your best friend, let alone your father-in-law. And the hidden surprise was the pad Thai. Having spent a while in Thailand, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Everyone was impressed, from the oldest guest, 81, to his ten-year-old granddaughter. Five yeses from all of us. Wow! All I can say is thank you to everyone who works here 🙏

The food was beautifully presented and tasted great, and there were plenty of seasonal options to choose from. We had a fantastic dinner last night, with excellent service, as always. The Sun Inn is a much-loved pub and restaurant in Faversham, and one of the best places to eat in town. I’d happily recommend it for lunch or dinner. Well deserved five stars!

We were surprised how quiet the room stayed, even though we were right beside a noisy bar. The staff were super friendly, and the building has loads of history and character in a very central spot. A couple of small things could be fixed easily. There wasn't enough light to put makeup on, apparently, and the emergency light above the toilet was so bright we had to cover it with clothes to sleep. We were only there for one night, so didn't mention it, but it should be simple to sort.

Nicole and Steven were so attentive, and their service made the meal even better. My wife and I had a fantastic dinner with great beers, too. Many thanks to everyone involved. I’d highly recommend this place. 😋🇬🇧🙏🍻

Jo, our waitress, was helpful and polite, and even took a photo of all four of us. We had a fabulous meal, with lovely food and a lush pudding. If we're in that area again, probably in summer, we'll definitely stop in.
