The main drawback was that sound seemed to carry through the walls and ceilings, so we could hear people in other rooms. Otherwise, the modern decor and very spacious room were great, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was reasonable, and they even had the basics like soap, shower gel and shampoo. It’s close enough to walk into Norwich centre. The staff were really friendly and did all they could to accommodate us. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I had a roomy twin room, and it felt quiet, safe and private. The place was clean and friendly, and the location was great for the price. I’ll definitely return, but I’ll bring my own pillow next time since I need a soft one to sleep comfortably.

Breakfast was tasty and inexpensive, and having free parking right in front was a bonus, though the spaces are tight and could be a problem with a larger car. We stayed upstairs in Room 1, facing the main road, and it could get noisy. During the intense July 2018 heat, a fan would have helped. The bathroom was very small, as is common in converted accommodation, but manageable if you’re not a big person.

We spent a week here while my husband was at a rally nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, and we tried breakfast a few times, which was excellent. I’d recommend it just outside Norwich.

The room was hot and tiny, the beds very uncomfortable, and road noise was constant. The en-suite was also far below standard, with damp and peeling paint. This is nowhere near a four-star stay and the listing gives a seriously misleading impression. I wouldn’t recommend it. When we complained, the manager wasn’t helpful and wasn’t available. I called him later to explain how awful it had been, but he refused to reimburse us for having to stay elsewhere on our second night. Please be aware it isn’t what it claims to be.
