Sue was wonderful and very accommodating, and our charming room was clean. We stayed at The Draen for three nights over Christmas, tucked away in the picturesque Brecon Hills. I arrived with a nasty bug, but slept peacefully every night and feel so much better now. The cooked breakfast each morning was a lovely bonus. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. We’ll definitely be back at The Draen, thanks for a lovely time!

The gluten free breakfast was outstanding, and as a coeliac I felt safe and really cared for. Sue’s hospitality and kindness blew us away. Such a beautiful place with an amazing team, just a fantastic spot ⛰️

We had a very good private breakfast at the dining table, and the bedroom was great too. There’s also a private lounge with a TV and a lovely log fire, which we used on a colder night. Such a great find in a quiet location. Highly recommend.

We came here unexpectedly after a property in Talgarth let us down. The host was absolutely wonderful and so accommodating, and breakfast was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location is gorgeous, and Sue was an amazing host. We’d been working in Devon that morning and didn’t know what time we’d arrive, so I called ahead. Sue was lovely on the phone and reassured us that it was fine if we ran late. She greeted my daughter and me when we arrived and showed us to our rooms. We had to leave very early for work the next day, but otherwise would’ve happily stayed longer. Thank you for a perfect stay in a perfect location.
