Failte Bed and Breakfast

During three weeks touring Scotland and Ireland, my wife and I stayed in guest houses throughout, and Failte was easily the best. Thomas has thought of everything. The bed was comfortable, the sheets crisp, and the breakfast room cosy with table linens. The food was AMAZING, and even the music was just right. Couldn't recommend it more. I've been to Scotland eight times and stayed in some beautiful B&Bs, but Failte is among the very best. The name means Welcome in Gaelic, and that's exactly how I felt there. The room was spotless, Thomas was a great host, and everything else was very good. I hope I can come back sometime. Thank you, Thomas!

We had to move our October booking because a storm stopped us travelling, and the hosts were very helpful about rescheduling. We eventually stayed for a night in March and had a lovely time. Thomas was so welcoming and friendly. He let us leave our bags at the B&B before check-in and again after it on the second day. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated, with a useful folder covering everything you need to know about Oban. Breakfast was cooked fresh, delicious, and offered plenty of choice. We'd definitely recommend a stay here.

The view from the window was beautiful, and the room was really comfortable. Thomas and his wife had thought of every amenity. We especially looked forward to breakfast each day, with delicious homemade yogurt and fruit presented like a work of art. Such a lovely stay at Failte!
