The Horseshoe Bed And Breakfast

It's no frills accommodation, and I haven't had any problems. There's a fridge and microwave in the room, and breakfast is brought to you. The person delivering it always wishes me a good day. The couple are very helpful, and parking is allowed, though you need to register your vehicle.

I was fined £100 after parking on the property for only a few minutes. When I called to confirm who I was speaking to, staff shouted at me and were rude and unhelpful. They seem to run a parking fine scheme on the side of the property. Check the other reviews and go somewhere else. I think this place and the people running it are awful. Avoid.

The room was lovely for the price, and I slept well in a comfortable bed. The manager was kind and seemed well intentioned, but he asked whether I was a swinger and didn't remember that we'd already paid, which made the place feel a bit strange. I'd recommend it if you're on a budget, though it may not be right for a romantic getaway.

I lost more than two days' wages when £180 was taken from my pay as a fine. I used to collect parcels from the Inpost locker here, which the owners are paid to host on their land. If they don't want it there, they should call the number shown on the locker and arrange to have it removed, instead of using their power to fine workers and customers who haven't done anything wrong. This experience really saddened me.
