We spent a wonderfully relaxed afternoon at Colleen and Nick Lowry’s family home. Our group of 38 North Coast Association Members arrived by coach and started with a delicious freshly made lunch, then enjoyed an informal, leisurely and informative look around the beautiful house, its collections and the grounds. They made us feel so welcome. A perfect stop for our group tour.

The owner was so kind and welcoming, and the beds were comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs an easy walk away. We also loved being around the chickens, horses, cows and dogs. Highly recommend staying here.

The hosts gave us such a warm welcome and looked after us throughout. Our accommodation was cosy, spotless and had everything we could need, and it was pet friendly too. There’s lots to do, from woodland walks and mountain bike trails to boating on the estate lake, tennis, the games room and an outdoor play area. Lovely for a short break, with enough to keep you there longer.

We took the bikes out with our children and really enjoyed the lovely trails. Colleen and Nick were welcoming and easy to chat with, and the apartment was very clean and well equipped. We’ve just come back from two nights and had a great stay.

The views were beautiful, with lots of different spots to explore and take photos. It’s a relaxing wedding venue, and children are welcome, with plenty of room to play. Swings and table tennis are set up near the venue. Outside caterers provided the food, and I’d give both the venue and caterers even more stars if I could.
