The Little Hideaway

The welcome basket was packed with goodies, including milk, eggs, bacon, cooked meat, bread, cheese, crackers, beer, juice and water. The place itself was spotless and had everything for a quiet break: a tranquil garden, comfy sitting room, extra-large bed, fully equipped kitchen and a nice bath. One thing, though: the woman owner is a conspiracy theorist who can talk endlessly and tries to push her opinions on you. I’d avoid getting drawn into conversation with her.

I’ve never felt more comfortable anywhere. The hosts were absolutely amazing, and this was such a cozy, wonderful place to stay. It’s right by the bus line, shops and fish and chips. I’ll use this hidden find again.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the little welcome package blew us away. This was the best holiday apartment I’ve ever stayed in, so homely and cozy. We’ll definitely come back in the future.

Beryl and Colin are without doubt the very best hosts. It’s a lovely little gem, the kind of place you wish you could keep to yourself. Absolutely perfect.
