Breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold choices, and the full English was lovely. We also enjoyed the food and range of dining options at dinner. Jamie was especially good on our first night, handling all the restaurant and bar service on her own, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We stayed two nights on a half-board basis at this lovely hotel, a five-minute walk from Folkestone Town centre. A great-value stay, and highly recommended.

Glen made our stay feel especially memorable. He was warm, friendly, and genuinely kind from the moment we arrived, and went above and beyond with his customer service. He’s such a credit to the hotel that I’d happily come back just for him. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated to making guests feel at home. Thank you, Glen. We’ll definitely return. The View Hotel in Folkestone was clean and comfortable, with lovely views and a great location for relaxing. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Sarah, who leads the cleaning crew, was so kind and accommodating. Since the room was too hot even with the windows open in December and two fans running, she brought me a duvet cover without the duvet to use as a top sheet. They only provide a blanket or duvet for a cover, and that was too hot. The building, views, and people are lovely. Breakfast was better than I’ve had elsewhere, and Max in the restaurant was lovely too.

We had dinner and breakfast included, and both were outstanding with generous portions. Kurt and Max were especially attentive at dinner, and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. Our junior suite was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We’d highly recommend staying here.
