Loxleys Lodge

Liz was wonderful throughout, always quick to answer our questions before we booked and just a message away during our stay. She made us feel welcome with a basket tailored to our dietary needs, and the homemade scones were delicious. We’ve just come back from a fantastic long weekend at Loxley’s Lodge. It was spotless, well equipped, and peaceful, with forest walks nearby. Our reactive dog settled in straight away. The garden was lovely and well kept, and it was great to come back to the hot tub after exploring. Highly recommend for a quiet, dog-friendly nature retreat. We can’t wait to visit again.

We arrived as four friends and were all blown away by the lodge. It was clean, beautifully presented, and had great amenities. We had a brilliant time and would happily recommend it. We’re even thinking about coming back. The hot tub was a real bonus, and the owner was so lovely and welcoming. Very well done on this lovely lodge. Antonia.

Easy access to the forest made it ideal for cycling and walks. We came back this year after a wonderful stay last year with our young grandchildren. The lodge was very clean, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Liz is so helpful. We’re already planning to return next year.

The garden was completely secure for our two dogs, and we had lovely walks starting right at the gate. My son and I stayed four nights at Loxley's Lodge with the dogs, and the accommodation was comfortable and had everything needed for a relaxing break. The welcome pack was incredible for both us and the dogs, with yummy homemade scones, clotted cream, jam, and lots of other goodies. We had a great time exploring the local woods and visiting the Major Oak in Sherwood Forest.
