Jan and Michael were attentive, friendly hosts, and the house felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The accommodation was clean and modern, the location quiet and an easy walk from town. Breakfast was a glorious feast. This lovely country B&B is one of the best places we've stayed in the UK, and I recommend it highly.

Breakfast was outstanding, with homemade bread and blueberry muffins to take away. Jan and Micheal were fabulous hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable, with thoughtful little extras. We'll definitely return and recommend it to friends and family. Tara & Lizzie

The family who run Rose Cottage Bed & Breakfast were so warm and welcoming that my boyfriend and I felt completely at home. The place is beautiful, with spacious, very comfortable rooms, and you can see the care they put into the little details. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommend it, and hope to return one day.

A lovely B&B close to the village centre. The room was comfortable and had an updated bathroom, the hosts were very nice, and breakfast service was outstanding.

We stayed in bedroom 1, and both the bed and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was phenomenal. Jan made us a little homemade bannock loaf to try and even sent us off with a homemade cupcake. The attention to detail was outstanding, and Jan and her husband went above and beyond to make us welcome. The house was spotless, clean, cosy, and inviting. A wonderful experience in a gorgeous location. If we visit Scotland again, we'll come back to Rose cottage. It gave our souls a bit of rest. Thank you both so much.
