Our plans changed because of the weather right in the middle of the busy season, and Fiona and Steven still found us a room. They made us feel at home straight away and were incredibly kind and helpful. Hillhaven Bed & Breakfast has a warm, caring feel to it. The rooms are cosy, the breakfast was delicious, and there are thoughtful little touches throughout. We felt more like friends than guests. It was a real highlight of our trip. Fiona and Steven put so much heart into hosting, and we’d happily return and recommend the place. True Scottish hospitality.

We were moving from Wiltshire to Scotland and called at the last minute about a room. Steven managed to fit three of us in, waited up until we arrived after 10 pm, and even packed us lunch for the drive home since we were leaving before breakfast. The place was very clean and nice. Highly recommended, thank you!

We had a great stay, and the rooms and the beautiful location were lovely. Stephen and Fiona were easy to chat with and had plenty of stories. They showed us the cute self-catering lodge they run next door, which I’d like to try on a future trip. Brocksie the BnB dog was a sweet surprise and a big hit with the kid in our group.

The room was cosy and cute, with a lovely view of the stars, and we had a wonderful honeymoon stay. Steve and Fiona were great hosts, gave us helpful local tips and meal suggestions, and served a superb breakfast. Their Jack Russell, Mr. Broxy, was lovely too. The countryside setting, surrounded by farms and fields, was gorgeous. We’d stay again when we return.

A comfortable bed, good breakfast and a friendly host made this a great place to stay. They also let us keep our motorbikes in the garage overnight.
