The hosts were so friendly and really wanted us to enjoy our stay. We had a lovely room too, clean, spacious, and a great fit for us while walking sections of Hadrian's Wall. With two cars, we could shuttle between the route and the accommodation, and a 20-minute drive from the door got us all the way to Haltwhistle Golf Club. A fantastic spot in the countryside. We had a great time!

The property itself wasn’t the problem. It was Book And Stay, who handled the booking as the agent. Their website says the £75 damage deposit is refundable, but after we chased it up, we were told it was actually insurance and wouldn’t be returned, even though there was no damage. It’s a shame they’re letting the property owners who use them down. I wouldn’t stay anywhere again if Book And Stay were the agent. Avoid them.

The location worked well for us, with room for the 8 year old and 5 year old to run around. We had a great family visit to Chesters Fort, just 1/2 mile away, and everyone enjoyed Spook Night in Hexham. Sandie and Michael were lovely to chat with, and Sandie had cakes waiting in our rooms and milk ready in the fridge for a cuppa. The rooms were spacious, with plenty of storage in the family room and lovely field views. The twin room was roomy too. Both en-suite bathrooms were very clean and had what we needed, and the downstairs room gave our son/daughter in law and 9 month old space to relax, with a great shower room. Having high chairs upstairs and downstairs made things easy with the baby. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, and the dishwasher was a bonus. It stayed warm, so we didn’t need to light the fire. We had a lovely stay. Thank you all, 'The Morleys'.

We’ve just got back from a break at Carr edge farm and would definitely return. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, with a great menu, and our full English breakfasts were Agra cook. Sandie gave us helpful directions for going out and about, she really knows the area. She welcomed us as soon as we pulled into the car park and made us feel at home with a pot of tea. Our ground floor room had a very comfortable king size bed, a seating area, and a wet room. Doors opened onto a well kept lawn with breathtaking views. Carr Edge Farm is a lovely choice for a peaceful break. Thank you so much, Sandie. Angela and David shaw.

The included breakfast hit the spot, and Sandie was a great hostess. My partner and I stayed for one night and had a lovely time. The surroundings were beautiful, with lambs bleating outside, and our room was comfortable. The bathroom had a bath I could stretch out in. Highly recommend 😊
