We upgraded from our initial bargain room booked through Booking.com, which was fine but didn't have a sea view, to room 15. That one was fab, with a lovely sea view and a generous balcony to sit on. The hotel is light and clean, and the people there were incredibly friendly and helpful. There are good facilities for simple cooking if you want to make something in the room, a good shower, and a complimentary coffee machine at reception. It's an easy walk down to Looe, though the route is quite steep, which explains the balcony view. Breakfast was fine, but you could also prepare your own in the room. It would be a lovely place to stay for walks on the SW Coast Path. Shame we only had one night. We'd choose it again when we come back to this beautiful area.

They made it feel like a home from home. The staff were lovely, kind, and really accommodating. After I checked out, I needed a quiet place to use my laptop for a work meeting, and they found one for me and even offered a cup of tea. My Labrador was treated like a prince. Everything was clean and well maintained, and breakfast was lovely. I'd highly recommend this sweet little hotel.

We had a fantastic sea view from our balcony. The room itself was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel's continental breakfast had a good selection and set us up for the rest of the day.

The sea view from room 20 was fantastic, and the balcony was spacious. We stayed at fieldhead hotel for Valentine's on February 14th, and the bed had been decorated with red ribbon and heart-shaped confetti, which was such a lovely touch. Emma and Kelly were working when we arrived. They were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful, all while under pressure to get rooms ready and look after reception. We can't thank them enough and wanted them to know how much we appreciated their hard work and constant smiles. Hope to see you again soon. Love, Donna and Brian Thomas xx

The balconies in the sea-facing rooms have unbeatable views, and the little kitchenettes in the rooms are a real plus. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is great. It's a fantastic place for a romantic getaway or a break from noisy everyday life. Would definitely recommend.
