Fowey Hall

The rooms were spacious, modern, comfortable and quiet, and the hotel has a beautiful view. Service didn't feel good enough for the price. On the terrace, table service was either hard to get or took a very long time. It was much quicker to go up for a menu and order drinks at the bar than to try to get someone's attention. The staff were friendly, but not very proactive or attentive.

The staff are friendly and the service is great. We've stayed twice and hope to come again. The hotel welcomes dogs and families, and has free private parking, plus a shuttle bus from the public car park next door. It's high above the estuary, so many rooms have superb views, but the walk down into Fowey is steep. The building is beautiful and has been sympathetically maintained. In summer there's a lovely heated outdoor pool, as well as an indoor spa and pool.

Our Dalmatian was given treats throughout the stay, and we had a beautiful room with a great view. The spa was delightful, with obliging, professional staff. Breakfasts and the evening meal were excellent, and the facilities were great. From the warm welcome to the happy, smiling staff and excellent service, everything was superb. Highly recommend 👌

The staff were friendly, the room was very spacious, and the hotel has a gorgeous view down to the town. It's a very steep ten minute walk to the shops and restaurants, but well worth it. We enjoyed cocktails at the bar in the evenings, while the restaurant was just okay. There was a laundry bin but no prices listed. We should have asked, but didn't find out until checkout that it was £30 per load. If we'd known, we would've combined the washing into one load instead of two. Oh well.
